Okahandja Medical Centre Staff Complete Fire Safety Training

Okahandja Medical Centre recently completed fire safety training for its staff, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and safety for both patients and employees.

The training was conducted in two groups, with the first group completing their session in August and the second and final group attending on 10 September 2026.

Facilitated by Khoisan Fire & Safety Solutions, the sessions combined essential fire-safety knowledge with practical training. Staff were shown how to respond appropriately during a fire emergency and gained hands-on experience with fire extinguishers and other safety procedures.

Following the training, participants received certificates recognising their successful completion of the programme.

Having staff who understand how to react quickly and appropriately during an emergency is an important part of maintaining a safe environment throughout Okahandja Medical Centre.

Thank you to Khoisan Fire & Safety Solutions for equipping our team with valuable knowledge and practical skills, and well done to all our staff members who completed the training.
